DC Mall again part 2, The air and space Museum

About a week ago, we had the opportunity to go to the Air and Space Museum. It was amazing
Near the entrance, we saw a small building that looked like an observatory. We were welcomed by two people who were currently studying the sun. They told us different things about the sun and even had a huge telescope that was focused directly on it. The whole thing was pretty cool.
That's the sun?? That is the non-filtered sun. Not what we thought it would look like. It is pretty cool that diferent types of light make you you see different viwes of the same thing
When we got inside my first thought was, "wow". There were so many planes, rockets, they even had all the lunar landing crafts!
I have officially touched a piece of the moon!
It was collected during the Apollo 17 mission.

An old cargo plane.
Amelia Airheart's actual plane!
After that, we headed over to the Wright Brothers exhibit. That is the actual first plane to fly.
A blown up picture of the first flight.
A model of a rocket launch site (rocket included) In real life, that would be as long as a football field (if it was laying on its side).
Everywhere signs cover the walls telling about everything from the lunar landings to Leonardo Divinchi.
More lunar samples.
What it was like in space.
They even have drones on display.

I loved this museum! I don't normally like museums so that's saying a lot. I definitely recommend this museum if you are visiting DC (along with all the other Smithsonian's).
