Moving into DC

Two weeks ago, we moved to Virginia right outside of Washington DC. When we finished getting through the airport security and all that, we grabbed a taxi van (we had lots of suitcases) and got our first look at the DC area. On the 20 min. drive to Oakwood (our long term hotel/apartment) we saw several monuments that we had only heard of. It was a pretty cool experience. When we moved all our stuff into the 2 room apartment (remember three kids). All us kids were in one room. My sister got the walk in closet, (most apartments have them) and my brother and I got the two beds. We didn't have to suffer to long though, on Wednesday of the second week we moved into a three bedroom apartment. The move was crazy but it was worth it when we saw how much more spacious our three bedroom apartment was than the two bedroom apartments. Here are some pictures of the Oakwood apartments (three bed and two)
